Are we celebrating Aafia Day now?

Along with Iqbal Day, Kashmir Day, Defence Day and what not; Jamat-e-Islami celebrated Aafia Day on September 16th this year. Pasted below is the flyer that was circulated online. What’s most fascinating is that apart from being proclaimed as one of the leading scientists of Pakistan (she has never worked in any scientific capacity in Pakistan, she only came here to buy and sell ammonium nitrate in black market) she is now a Hafiza! If this is the way things continue, chances are that she will soon be declared a Shaheeda even when she is alive and kicking (and if rumours are to be believed – screaming).
Here is to quam ki beti – Baji Aafia. If I had known September 16 was your day, I would have done something special to celebrate you – like looking up some jihadi toyboy

The Appollo 786 carrying Dr Aafia and a lotta, had a smooth lift-off and safely landed on the seventh heaven where the hijabi scientist is scheduled to meet the mian of all mians- Allah Mian.Takbeer.

  • Naam nahaad Insaani haqooq ko chhorro yaar haqeeqi Islam k waaris aur farzand Arjumnad Munwar Hassan revealed this secret after many years that daughter of west Dr. Shazia khalid’s rape in Sui was only to defame Pakistan & Muslims as she hadn’t any witness & she couldn’t keep herself quiet. Madam, why to care about science & scientists when neither it can help to resolve our Eid moon problem nor Dr. Shazia khalid can present it as a testimony in any case? Waisay Shazia khalid p hamari human rights organizations & liberals had a genuine reason to be silent as she belonged to a small town of Sindh also a Ismaeli Shia.

  • Dukhtar e Ummat???

wowww is she on her way to replace all the pious women of Islam….. soon to be graded after Bibi Fatima A.S.

Her half of the family holds american citizenship?? why dont they bloody give it up??

and her sister is trying to raise 5 or 15 crores through sadqa zakat…….as if Pakistan is short of those who REALLY deserve.

  • u r such a whore! Bitch!

  • Bonjour Tazeen,

You are becoming more and more regional, my dear. Or parochial, if you prefer.

I read this post three times without understanding anything. Then I looked through the comments and understood that this Ms Aafia has been on ISS.

So if you have some more time to spare, just explain what all this is about.

Is it still raining in the South?

    Cheers
    Georg

  • Strange to see That all liberals and So called Moderate Pakistanis are against innocent lady who were kidnapped from Karachi. Then after many years we came to know that she attacked American troops in Afghanistan . . no evidence no witness . what a justice .

  • I feel very sorry for Afia but I think she has a lot of explaining to do.e.g how did she end up in afghanistan from karachi? Why did the US choose her to kiddnap why not aby other woman with less influence? Why did afia marry that jihadist guy? what happened to him? I really don’t think her story is as simple as it seems.

  • @the blog owner

You should have thought twice before writing a humiliating post for Aafia who is already languishing in an American jail.

    She has seen the worst.

The least she requires is support from us.

Your way with words and going with what is IN on the twitter circle will not promote your blog and your internet social status.

If no logic appeals to you, then fear Allah. if you have the ability to write do not use it to defame the oppressed.

It would not be making a mountain out of a mole hill, if I say that it is thinking like yours that have brought Pakistan to this level.

  • Without commenting on Afia siddiqqui’s INNER obscure story, which could be both against her or in favor, I wouldnt know, but this was a humiliating post.
Sensitive issues ought not to be defined in such blunt terms.
